A: It comes factory-fitted with reinforced treble hooks sized and rated for large freshwater fish. They resist bending and pull-out under normal catch conditions. If you are targeting extremely large fish, you can of course swap in heavier hooks to match your own preferences.

Q4: Can I use it in saltwater? What water is it best for?

A: It performs best in large freshwater environments: lakes, reservoirs and large rivers. Extended saltwater use is not recommended, as salt will accelerate corrosion of metal components. If used briefly in saltwater, rinse thoroughly with fresh water and dry completely afterwards to extend its life.
